Pastels on Screen

Marie Antoinette is one of the most beautifully shot films I've ever seen.  So much color, but muted just enough not to overwhelm the viewer.  Capturing its essence might be a feat, but if done well, it could be charming and perfect.

Yes, you're seeing this right.  It's the living room set from The Golden Girls.  There's just something I've always loved about how soothing and beachy it felt.  Pastels remind me of old women, and old women are awesome.
